Changing format of footer in 2013 Theme

I’m setting up a new site at https://officegenie.com.au/ using the 2013 theme. I’ve been able to find out how to change the colours but given the style of the site, the footer is far too big and deep for this site. I would like just a thin bar, like up the top where the menu items are. Happy to have powered by wordpress there but want to get rid of the archives, meta information, etc. And possibly add(C) for the owner of the site.
