• Could anyone help me with the code (or point me in the direction) to how I can have my footer appear at a certain vertical space down the page, but still have the ability to go farther down when the page is longer.

For example, I would like the footer to appear approximately 600px down even on pages with little content (where the content wouldn’t push it that far) and also let it automatically be pushed down farther on those pages that have lots of content.

    Is this possible?

  • You want a “sticky footer”. I have a tutorial on this on my website – just copy the code and use at will ??

ok, looks great, and hopefully easy. I will play round with it, just to ask, should I put the divs in the footer php, or in the page around where the “php get footer” is?

I don’t think it really matters – I usually just stick ’em right in the footper.php file and have the index call it in.
