Changing font on summery text gallery setting 20-11 theme

Im using the 20-11 theme on my website and I would like to use the “gallery” setting for my posts. So one image and a small amount of text is displayed. Requiring the viewer to click on the post to see more.
I have changed the font for my posts using ‘fonts for web’ plugin. However the small amount of text displayed reverts to a standard font. (Its fine once you access the main body of text. ) Does anyone know how to change this summery text to the font I want?
Its probably something really obvious but Im just not getting it!! Help!
