    WP 6.0
    Astra 3.8.5
    WooCommerce 6.6.1
    ShopEngine 2.2.2

I’ve tried sending a support request through the website but it said something went wrong.

I’m experimenting with ShopEngine locally on my PC

I’m using the Astra theme “Brandstore” with the font “Lato”.

When I use the ShopEngine plugin for custom pages, the fonts in the shop become “Barlow”.
Is there an easy way to fix this in ShopEngine?

Also H1 size (Astra 4.125em) in the custom shop pages get set 2em because it is set in
    <link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’shopengine-widget-reset-css’

    which loads after
    <style id=’astra-theme-css-inline-css’>
Is there an easy way to fix this in ShopEngine?

    Thank you

  • Hello @firehorseuk ,

You can change the font from any widget like this screenshot. For the second issue, can you please share the live website link to check the issue further?

    Hello @benjirahmed,

    Thank you for your reply.

Regarding ShopEngine overwriting Astra Theme H1 style

Here is a link to a picture of the shop H1 title with debug window and annotations
    https://photos.app.goo.gl/L17XnfADw1WW1mZV7

Here is the page source code also annotated
    https://photos.app.goo.gl/rxu3JJMkM4BGkQfU8
You can see that shopengine load its reset code after Astra theme. It doesn’t matter if I install Astra then ShopEngine or ShopEngine then Astra, the code lines end up in the same place.

I should not have to put custom CSS code to overwrite ShopEngine H1 title size.

Are you able to find a solution to this?

    Thanks
    Alan

    Hello @firehorseuk ,

Thanks for the detailed information. I have forwarded this matter to my development team for further inspection. Please wait and I will get back to you as soon as I have any information about it.

    Hello @firehorseuk ,
I hope you are doing well.

I understood the issue you are having with. If you have added a style for H1 From your theme, then that style will be applied to the Elements of the Theme and also the Elements that are dependent on the styles of the Theme. ShopEngine has its own Stylesheet and all the Elements inside ShopEngine Template will adhere to that stylesheet. If you use the H1 tag outside of the ShopEngine template or any standalone Page, the style that you’ve applied from the Theme for H1 will start to display properly.

Now, if you want to style the Title, you don’t need to apply custom CSS code. We have included a controller which will help you to adjust the Typography of the Title as per your needs. If you want, you can also create a Global Style for the Title so that you can adjust the style of the Title of ShopEngine Templates by selecting that Global Style. Kindly check this video to understand the entire process of doing so.

I hope you can understand the entire matter now. But, if you need further clarification on this matter, please let me know. I will be happy to assist you.
