• On my checkout pages I have a number of fields that cant be read as the font colour is grey against a red background. I would like to change the font colour on these field to white whilst keep the rest on the pages grey.

Please can anyone point me in the right direction of where to change the code and how to do it. By the way I am using estore as my front end

    Many thanks,

    Suzanne

    Those log-in details are incorrect.

Are you using a Child Theme, custom theme or a Custom Style/ Custom CSS plugin?

    Hi Andrew,

Sorry I have no idea how to answer this as I didn’t set the website up from scratch myself and am now trying to figure out why certain aspects don’t work which is turning into a bit of a headache to say the least!

If I go to appearance > themes it shows current theme as estore version 3.
Please could you tell me where to look to answer this question.

    Many thanks,

    Suzanne

Do you know if the theme was downloaded, or created from scratch?

Its a theme from a company called elegantthemes.com. I’m assuming it was downloaded, but when I try to download the newer version I am unable to. Sorry to be so vague.. I hope this answers your question

    theme is elegant estore theme

Who did the changes in this theme css file, see live preview

Live preview dont have any issues

It’s not fair to press forum volunteers for help with themes commercially purchased; promoting or depriving business from vendors who are responsible for support.

In the live preview version, when you add an item to the basket the sub-total text is barely visible as it is white on grey. My sister boyfriend must have done the change when he set it up for me or maybe it is because I am using an older version?

How do you get to the theme css file and perhaps I can figure it out!

    Hi Andrew,

You are right, unfortunately I didn’t purchase the theme myself and therefore have no access to support. I foolishly through this would be an easy fix to handle first before I address some of the other problems with my half finished site. I really don’t want to inconvenience anyone.

I am not sure whether to subscribe myself to elegant themes or whether to use one of the wordpress themes, but I am worried what will happen if I deactivate it now as when I preview Twenty Eleven or Twenty Ten the home page formatting is all over the place! I have no idea how much I will have to reprogram and whether I will loose data etc

As you have probably gathered I am a complete novice at this! Is there anyone that I can pay to finish this thing off before I loose the plot!!!!!
