Changing font & color in embedded

I like to copy and paste the single podcast episode code into a Text widget and place in the side-margin of my website. The problem is my website is black and the podcast box is white and sticks out like a sore thumb.I figure there must be a way to type in manually the background and font color I want: background black and font yellow.
