Changing domain on my wordpress site

Yes, it looks like the client has just created a forward. Every traffic going to https://creativespiritsunleashed.com/* will be transparently forwarded to https://creativespiritsunleashed.net/*

Technically, everything works — but if you want things clean, you’ll need to change the URL in the WordPress settings. Go to https://www.creativespiritsunleashed.net/wp-login.php , log in and go to Settings -> General.

The Site Address and WordPress Address are probably still set to https://www.creativespiritsunleashed.com — you just have to change it to https://www.creativespiritsunleashed.net.

Wll, that’s where it gets sucky. I can’t log in anymore. I go to the wp-admin, login with the credentials I have and it doesn’t really go anywhere. Sometimes it even spits me to the homepage with a 404 on it.

I’ll just have to wait for her to change the site address instead of just making it a forward.

EDIT: sorry, I was getting a little confused.

It looks like you want the .COM site to be the main one (and the .NET one is the old one), correct? (I was under the impression that it was the other way around.)

In that case, you can’t really do much on your end. Your client has set up the forward from https://www.creativespiritsunleashed.com/* to https://www.creativespiritsunleashed.net/*, but I guess it has to be exactly the other way around (NET should go to COM).

Traffic to https://www.creativespiritsunleashed.net/abc123 should be redirected transparently to https://www.creativespiritsunleashed.com/abc123

In the WordPress settings, things seem to be fine.
