Changing default location, and my Debugs for you …
-
Hi
WP4, current GD, current WPML. 20 / 12 theme.
PHP version 5.4.34
MySQL version 5.1.73-logCurrently running WP with :
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);Question:
If I want the default location to be ‘Wales’ > United Kingdom, what should the default location settings be? I mean, if I set Cardiff as City and Region, then it seems that all listing that might be located in city of Bangor, for example, will be United Kingdom > Cardiff > Cardiff > Bangor.<< UPDATE: This function requires AddOn: https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/multilocation/
Of course, one might expect: United Kingdom > Wales > City or Town, or Village…
Note:
Updating/changing default location in GD admin: admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=default_location_settings — throws a:Undefined variable: default_location in /homepages/xx/xx/htdocs/marketplace/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/location_functions.php on line 142
Looks like in (current version, I might add) FFox: https://snag.gy/Iy3iT.jpg

Error log from WP_DEBUG_LOG:
I’ll be honest with you my friend – either your version is stable version, and the download’able one if less – or you have a very particular development environment that is somehow different from mine on some fundamental basis – the thing is GD is not as complex as other plugins/themes I’m working with – so, is it 20 / 12, WPML? PHP version, or quality of plugin << no disrespect.
I’m stuck, can’t move forward with GD.
I’m using a paid for directory (Vantg), will likely stick with to be honest… but I’ll let you know if I find that it was my fault all along.
