changing custom css and woo commerce css has no effect on the theme

Did you get this fixed? When I add an item to the cart and then proceed to the checkout I’m able to view the State dropdown ok with black text on a white background in the dropdown selection.

I was not.

It will only highlight one province at a time and this is leading to confusion with the customers.

Interesting, are you getting reports from visitors about this issue or are you just seeing it? I loaded up the site in both Chrome/Safari and I’m not able to replicate the issue shown in your screenshot:

Have you tried clearing your browser cache or appending something like ?nocache onto the end of the page URL to force the cache to update?

I am just helping a friend with her site and do not have access to her hosting.

There is no caching in wordpress so it must be on the server level.

Yep, that would definitely mean it’s being cached somewhere. ??
