Changing Country Flag

Dear reader,

For our website we have translated it from Dutch to English. Though when translating we have set it to American English. This causes the flag to be American as well.

Now we would like to change this to UK English, but it seems to me when I change the language we lose all the translation. Is there a way to change the language/flag without losing all our translations?
