Hi am new to all this, I have spent a very long time trying to change the colour of the ‘container’ box on my website (the large drop in the middle of the page, not the background colour). I have used the 2011 theme and it has given me a #0F0F0F (off black) when I want the container box to match my background colour #000000 (pure black). If anyone could help I would be delighted, I am sure it is simple to do, I think I just need to know which html code to change in the CSS style, but I don’t.
    Thanks everyone!
    Paul

Ha! No i did, I just omitted it from the paste, thought i’d send the original one. Apologies. Tried the above code (thank you very much for taking the trouble), but unfortunately still does not work. Frustrating is not the word!

Refresh your browser (F5 or Ctrl+F5) and empty any cache you are using on your website.

It’s changed to black for me.

Brilliant, they look exceptionally helpful links, I shall use them. Thanks to you both for your assistance, there is no way I would have been able to have worked it out myself.
