Changing Color of main nav hover and social media

I added this to mine:

.navbar .nav > li > a { color: #414a9e; }

.navbar .nav > li > a:focus,
.navbar .nav > li > a:hover { color: #39c6f4; }

The first line is for the colour of the menu text and the last is the colour it changes to on mouse hover
