Is there a way to get SS3 to either change the canvas size for mobile devices, or change templates entirely on mobile?

I’m trying to recreate a site in WordPress that has a single-image slider with two columns of text underneath it in a colored block. The task is to recreate the original as closely as possible. I managed to make this in SS3 by adding a background color behind the image and padding below it, then using the row function for adding the text.

This works for the desktop version. The problem is on the mobile version, the original site readjusts this colored block to display all the information in individual rows instead of separate columns. I’m trying to figure out how to recreate that. The padding solution doesn’t work because the padding is the same on both mobile and desktop. I’ve linked the original site so you can see what I mean. Any suggestions?

Do you mean that the row don’t wrap the columns below each other on mobile? Like on these screenshots:

By default this should happen, because the default value of the Wrap after option is 1 on mobile:

Is it possible that it was changed on your slider?

Yes, that’s KIND of what I mean. The text does indeed wrap. The problem is the text is contained in a padded area below where the image is displayed. This padded area doesn’t resize, so the text gets cut off.

Hi @vroomvroomspork!

Is it necessary to have your content within one slider only? Because it would be much simpler, if you would just have two sliders. The first one would have a background image with the text, while the second slider would have only the purple background color with the text in it. Then you wouldn’t need to try to adjust them to each other.

If you would like to keep them on one slide, then at the top part’s row:

you could use the “stretch” option to push the lower row to the bottom part of the slide and you wouldn’t need paddings.
