Changing calendar default date

(posted over a week ago, but the question seems to have disappeared)

This plugin came with our theme and we really like it! One irritation though… We have a single-day event. Is there a way to have the calendar default to a specific date rather than the current date? I searched the Forums and couldn’t find an answer. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
