Changing Body Text without Messing up whole page

On this site I want to increase the font size from .8em to .9em but when I do some things get messed up. The nav bar gets pushed up a little and the date circle becomes skewed. I’m sure this is because the line height has changed. Can anyone tell me what elements to target to make those bigger to suit the new body text size?
