• Hi all – I am trying to design a one-page website and when I go to design, all I see is a Sample Page and Blog page (this is for WordPress themes and a theme which I downloaded). I’m not seeing the Home Page for any of these themes. Does anyone know how to resolve?

FYI – i tried going into ‘Customizer’ and ‘Home Page Settings’ and I set it as a Static Page, but the only option in the drop down was a ‘Sample’ page.

    Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @cgricik12, there is no specific page named Homepage, you can set any page (with any name, ‘Sample Page’ in this case) as the homepage using the Customizer.

You can create a new page, name it ‘Homepage’ (or just about anything, really) and use the Customizer to set it as the homepage for your site.

Hi @dhruvkb Thanks for your response! I’m trying to see (and design off of) the Home Page that comes with the themes, but that’s the page that I’m not able to see.

Even with the default themes that WordPress provides, I’m not actually able to see the Home Page, only a Sample of the blog page which doesn’t have much content.

None of the themes come with predefined pages. You have to make the pages, and populate the content in them, by yourself.
