I couldn’t find someone else asking this so my apologies if it’s a dupe.

I have 4 columns. I want a seamless background color behind 2 of them so it looks like one column. What I get is 2 columns of background color with white space in between them.

There is no padding, no block spacing, and I’ve even tried getting rid of margins using css that works elsewhere on my site.

    I figure there’s a better way. I just don’t know what it is ??

  • Mmmm… if you remove the margin between individual columns and set the block spacing to 0 in the parent “Columns” block, there should not be any white between those two columns.

Any chances you could share a screenshot of your set up?

For context, what you are struggling with is not uncommon, an exploration of how to simplify this process is taking place here.

I have no idea what was going on but it’s not anymore. No issues. So strange. I just recreated the columns and it worked. Thank you. ??
