    Hello,
    I have included a background image for my site but now all the navigation is hard to read. What I want to do is make the background color of the navigation white so the links can be seen. I was able to do this with the header but can’t find where to do it for the navagation. Anyone have an idea?

    I also have the same problem in the Browse section where you have the 2 thumbnails. Is there a way to make this white as well.

    Thanks for any help or advice!

    I think this controls your nav section, add background to that

    Nice. It worked! Thank You Rvoodoo!

    Is there a way to make the blank space above the header white as well?

    Also is it possible to make the space between Comment and the footer closer so there is no gap?

    I appreciate your help with this!

    ummm…the only way I see to add a white background above the header is to add it to #wrapper

    BUT- that will make your entire content area white….so the area above and below your footer as well…..

    as far as a gap between comment and footer….I don’t see what you mean. Is this on a certain page?

    Hey Rvoodoo!
    That works for the home page, but the other pages there is still the transparent above the header. I am assuming I can change this on all pages but I am stumped at where.

    Also if you go to the About / Sessions / Gallery pages there is a transparent background there too. How do I make this white as well?

    As far as the gap between comment and footer, if you click one of the post on the homepage and then scroll to the bottom you will see the comment then the gap then the footer. I think it would just look cleaner if it was all white. Does that make sense?

    I can’t thank you enough for your quick responses and help. After hours of trying to figure it out myself it is so nice to finally see the changes I was wanting.

    So thank you for your help!

    I went through all your pages…. they have the white background on all of them, not transparent?

    did you refresh your browser? ctrl+f5

    ata quick glance, this line:

    #comments {display:block;background-color: white;margin:36px 0;}

    seems responsible for the white space above and below your comments.

    if you change the 36px, it will adjust space above and below the comments area.

    if you just want to adjust the space below the comments box, we change it to:
    margin:36px 0 20px;

    which is the number for top, sides, bottom

    That’s for size, if you are talking just changing the colour…again, it is all white for me….

    Hey Rvoodoo!

    hmmmmmm. It isn’t for me for some reason. I am looking at it in Safari and Firefox. Are you using IE? Is there white behind the text on the About, Session, Rate pages?

    Thank you for helping me and testing this out!
