changing Author name in Devart theme

  • hi. i just installed wordpress and uploaded the devart theme, but i cant chane the Author line that says: Howdy! I’m Denis and this is my blog.

    i would at least like to chnage the name Denis to Dirk

    i changed it by editing the sidebar.php page.

    Open up the sidebar.php of your devart theme with notepad or bbedit and you will find the “Howdy” stuff. Edit, save and FTP upload back to your theme folder.

    at least you can see yours. The “Author” information will not appear and the sidebar.php is loaded (twice). Looked at widgets and do not see any “author” widget. Any suggestions?
