Changing Appearance

  • Hi,

    I just created a blog and I would like to change its appearance. I’ve already downloaded an appearance, but how do I install it into my blog?

    Also, how do I install the stats?

  • i’ve change theme by installing as plugin

    The theme should not be in the plugins folder. It is uploaded in the “themes” folder, inside the wp-content directory. Then, from your admin dashboard –> appearance, you activate the theme.

    i cannot login to the blog blog anymore since i uploaded the theme in plugin folder.

    Try this:
    1 – Delete that theme from the plugins folder
    2 – On the server, rename the plugins folder temporarily to something else. This will deactivate all plugins.
    3 – Login
    4 – Rename the folder back to “plugins”
    5 – Reactivate all plugins from the admin dashboard.
