Changing all Vendor to Seller

You can try replacing all the vendor in core coding with the supplier which is a hard work. Now without changing the core file, it is easy to use translation file just open the dokan-lite pot file in PO EDIT then change the vendor word to your own word.

Now you have to save the translation file like as .po and .mo
I know you will ask that you do not want to translate.No need to worry – all the website will remain in English just it will change the vendor word to your own word this is a trick to change a single string of entire plugin. You have to also change the pro version language file also.

You have to rename the file name like dokan-lite-en_GB.mo and dokan-lite-en_GB.po and dokan-en_GB.mo and dokan-en_GB.po.Then upload it on wp-content/languages/plugins folder.

Unfortunately, the option to upload a video to the ‘add new product’ section is unavailable at this moment. However, it’s possible to put an embedded video link on the product description field. So, the video can be played directly from the product page.

That hard because not all seller want to make another account for other video platform site like youtube to upload their product and embedded the video link on their product. They prefer direct upload and of course that will make site owner have to spend more money for their server cost. I’m ready for that, but since this features not available for me to make the test on dokan lite, I think I might try other plugins.

Thanks for your reply. In this case, you can customize the Dokan plugin to add this feature. Also, there are many 3rd party plugins available and you can integrate one of those plugins with Dokan through proper customization.

For Dokan, you need to make sure that you have renamed your translation file correctly like dokan-en_GB.po and dokan-en_GB.mo and inserted them on the correct location.

i can’t get this to work am i suppose to add something to my wp-config file

I am sorry, that’s not how it will work. You have to follow the translation process or change the vendor word by modifying the each file of Dokan. I think the translation process is easy if you can do ??
