  • If you log in as the admin, then go to your Users page, there are boxes for changing the password. If you want to change the login name, I think you would need to do that in phpMyadmin. You can change what displays on the blog though, if that’s really all you need.

    You can’t change the passwrod for the admin. The program has to change that for you. Is that correct?
    I wish you had more control over the look of the blog page. Can I change it?

    Is this an open source script? If it is can we take out the all credits and the name Word Press from the blog site?

    I’ve changed my admin password where I told you. The program doesn’t need to do it, why do you think that?

    Yes, it is open source and you can remove the credits. But credits are nice.

    What do you mean by more control over the blog page? You have full control over how it looks by modifying the theme templates and css.

    I might be wrong. I will have another look at the control panel. But as far I remember, you could only add additional users and change their password only not the admin or administrator’s!

    Make sure you are on the Your Profile page and not the Authors & Users page.
