Changing Admin Email Address

  • I have been trying to change the email address in General Settings and the email address in Contact Information. I received an email with a link to click to effect the changes but when I click the link, it redirects to a page with this message….
    “This has been disabled”
    Can anyone help, please?

    The redirected page has the default /wp-admin in the URL. I have customized login page, could this be the problem?

    It would be helpfull to know if this is a Multi-site or not.

    Meanwhile, try changing it from the following page

    yoursite.com/wp-admin/options

    What do you mean exactly by “Multi-site”? I don’t have a wp-admin in my URL for my login. I changed it to a customized login, do you understand?

    When I use wp-admin/options….I get Error 404 Page

    If you don’t understand Multi-site, then ofcourse, you ain’t using it.

    Did you check youdomain.com/you-login-url/options ?

    If not try checking it.

    Try better

    youdomain.com/you-login-url/options.php

    you forgot the “.php”

    hi guys, I have updated the admin email address. I receve the link – click on it and receive a ‘Oops! That page can’t be found.’ error message. Can anyone help?
