Changing address of Media Library Files

    Hey all

    I need to change the file URLs of certain files in the media library. When i try to Edit, it doesn’t work. I need this because mod_rewrite is disabled and the files are being uploaded to wp-content/blogs.dir/X/.

    I’ve tried editing the files in the Media Library, however it doesn’t let me change the URL.

    i’ve look in phpmyadmin to try to find where the file references are located, but it doesn’t actually show me.

    anyone have any ideas?

    I need this because mod_rewrite is disabled ….

    The number of things that are going to barf with mod-rewrite disabled on your server are too many to count.

    You can change the file location in multisite by going to Super Admin -> Sites and editing the site you want to change for.

    In THERE you’ll want to change
    * Upload Path
    * Upload Url Path

    thanks for that, it helped.

    Now the problem i have is, i’ve changed the file names manually via FTP, and i was hoping to update the media library to reflect this as well, but i still can’t change the url. any ideas as to where this info is located and how i can change it?
