Changing a URL in a cell doesn’t update

    The URL will change in Tablepress in WP but not live on the site. Here’s the steps I took:

    Created the tables in Excel, exported as xls
    Imported the table
    Copy/pasted the links for each cell using “Advanced Editor” / link
    But the URL’s are wrong now and when I go to update them, the URL’s will update in the cell but not live on the site. It’s not a local cache issue, I tried numerous browsers and cleared cache. I tested this but adding dummy text in another cell.

    Any idea why the URLs arent updating?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    That sounds strange. Are the URLs still correct (on the “Edit” screen), when you go to the “Edit” screen again the next time?
    Then, it could be a TablePress caching issue. Could you then please change the Shortcode on the page to

    [table id=123 cache_table_output=false /]

    (with the correct ID)? Please also check if the page actually still contains the Shortcode. I’ve recently seen themes that replace it with the render HTML code instead.
