Hello again! I love your plugin! It works perfectly. Thank you for it.

I am wondering if there is a way to change or remove the word “recipe” in the “recipe by” section. I am not using the plugin for just food recipes, but more for procedures. It’s not a huge deal, but if it can be done, I’d like to change it.

I would also like to change or remove the icons in the custom labels section, if that’s possible.

    Hello Tamie!

It’s possible to remove the Author from each recipe block. There is such an option in the Block Settings: https://d.pr/i/VH3nGH

Or you can replace that word with something else using a translation plugin like TranslatePress or Loco Translate: https://d.pr/i/q4eE7p

As for the icons, just click on each of them in the block directly, and a popup will appear where you can choose a different icon. You can also find a blank icon in the Font Awesome 5 set: https://d.pr/i/GAdfPU

Hello! Thank you for the quick response. I did not realize that I could change the icon like that.

I so see that I can completely remove the author line, but I just wanted to remove the word “recipe” or replace it. As you suggested, I installed Loco Translate, however I also do not need to translate it as I am changing it to another word in the same language. If it cannot easily be done, it is fine, I can live with it.

Thank you again for your help.

@tamierp with TranslationPress, for example, you can change the text strings even if within the same language. This is shown in the screenshot linked in the previous reply by Pavel. You can find more details here.
