Changes to PHP files – new versions

    Hi Support.
    I saw that for many support posts here you recommend editing a Plugin PHP file in order to do layout changes.

    However, what happens to the changes in this PHP file when a new version of the plugin will be distributed – they might be gone, right?

    Most of them, we add a lot of changes in the functions or just change the code in the plugin
