    Hi there,
if I change even only text (even just one letter) of one field, there will be lost all connectivity-dependencies from other fields which are dependent on that field.
    That should not happen.
Other than that the plugin is very good and is serving my needs perfectly!
    Cheers, Gunther

    Hi @katschi01,

I hope you are doing well today!

if I change even only text (even just one letter) of one field, there will be lost all connectivity-dependencies from other fields which are dependent on that field.

Could you please elaborate this query a bit more please, as I could not be able to replicate the same on the form? Did you also try with incognito mode in your browser and have the same issue?

Also it would be great if you can share an export of the form, so that we can check further.

You can find more info on how to export the form here : https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

After exporting, please share the code using a service such as https://pastebin.com which is free to use.

Please always make sure to use such service to share the code and don’t post the code here directly as it will most likely be unusable.`

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

    Hi Zafer, thanks for reply!

You can try it on any form: you create form-field “1” with radio elements. You create 3 radio-elements:
    O Aaa
    O Bbb
    O Ccc
Then you create another field “2” and set the visibility to depend on what is checked on field “1”:
visibility: show this field if any of the following rules match: ….
choose field “1” with matching radio “Aaa”.
Then you change the field “1” radio-text “Aaa” in maybe “Abc”
Field “2” will lose visibility-dependence to that radio-element in form “1”

    Got it?
Thats because the visibility-dependencies are based on plain text instead of field-ID’s
Would be nice if they were based on field ID’s, so you can change whatever you want in that field as long as ID remains the same.

    Kind regards, Gunther

    Hi @katschi01

I was able to replicate this issue in my lab. I pinged our Forminator Team to review your query and see how we can improve this. As for now, after such a change, it will be recommended to edit that hidden field and correct the conditional logic there.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Hi @katschi01

I hope you are doing well.

I am afraid we can’t give an estimated time to release the fixed version but you can subscribe and follow our roadmap from https://wpmudev.com/roadmap/#forminator

    Hi @katschi01

Please double-check now on your side. Changing radio-text should not affect any conditional logic now.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Hello @katschi01 ,

We haven’t heard from you for some time now, so it looks like you don’t have more questions for us.
