I created a custom billing field.

    – If filled via checkout, it works.
    – If not filled via checkout, sometimes the customer request us to fill after the order is saved. Then accessing the order and changing the billing infos. They got saved, except for the custom fields. Changed manually into database (postmeta) and it worked. Weird.

Not fixed yet. Not even got in contact with them though. It’s just a shame you have to get in contact via facebook). That’s a poor experience. Also, the final solution will not be readable by others.

Hi, This issue seems to be ongoing. Is there any update on this, as promised above. thank you.

Those custom fields are not editable from there (free version of the plugin). They released an update with the fields disabled.

Then it’s a (missing) feature, not a bug.
Lol. Somehow this is solved, then.

    Hello,

We’d like to provide clarification regarding the ability to edit custom billing fields in orders from the admin panel. These functionalities are actually exclusive features of the premium version of our plugin. Unfortunately, there was an oversight where these features were inadvertently made available in a previous version of the free plugin and were subsequently deactivated in a recent update.

It’s important to emphasize that this isn’t an error but rather a deliberate limitation set for the free version of the plugin.

    Best regards, QuadLayers Support Team.
