Changes to Child Changes Parent

    I installed the latest version of this plugin and used it to create a child theme for the GeneratePress theme. I then switch to my child theme so it is active and then use Customize to make a quick color change to test the child theme. In this example, the background is now blue.

    When I switch back to the parent theme, I see that the background there is also now blue. Originally it was red. How do I prevent this behavior?

    This has nothing to do with the configurator.

    The customizer writes options to a database record that is specific to the theme. Some themes use additional options which may or may not be specific to the theme.

    Your browser may also be caching the stylesheet.
