• Hi!

Changes on my website are visible when I am logged in in wordpress but they do not go live so any other public viewer cannot see the changes that i have done.

I already cleared the site cache and page cache. I also cleared the browser cache. I also deactivated the plugin “cache enabler” and reinstalled it again.
    Nothing changes.

I hope you can help me!

    Yours Sarah

  • `Hi!

Please, could you try with another browser? For example, Google Chrome in private Mode or Firefox in the same mode.

Another question. You use Cloudflare? Because, also clean cache in your Cloudflare panel.

    Kind regards.

It is the same in another browser – safari and microsoft edge.

I don’t use cloudflare – just the plugin “cache enabler” by KeyCDN

    Kind regards.

Double check its settings / Try to disable (and flush its cache) and see if the problem will be gone.

    I have the following settings:

    EXPIRATION

Cached pages expire 0 hours after being created.
    CLEARING

Clear the site cache if any post type has been published, updated, or trashed (instead of only the page and/or associated cache).
Clear the site cache if a comment has been posted, updated, spammed, or trashed (instead of only the page cache).
Clear the site cache if a plugin has been activated or deactivated.

    VARIANTS

Create an additional cached version for WebP image support. Convert your images to WebP with Optimus.
Create an additional cached version for mobile devices.
     Pre-compress cached pages with Gzip.

I also deaktivated the plugin and installed it again but is did not solve the problem

Please, try with all plugins deactivate. If the problem persist without plugins active, you can try with another theme, for example twenty-twenty, or another default theme (this is a temporary testing).

I tried to deactivate all plugins and now the website on desctop version is actualised but on the mobile version it is still the old version.

Can I activate a new theme without losing my actual website?

It′s very strange. I think that the mobile version is in cache from de smartphone/tablet. Could you try with another device or clean cookies and data from the browser?

Don′t worry, not losing your website for the new theme activate.
Anyway, it′s highly recommended make a backup for your website (files and database). For example, I do it weekly for not lose my websites.

Please, Could you confirm if your problem has been solved?
This can help to other users.
    Thanks.
