• Hi,

This happened before in another version, but it seems to be doing it again.

Changes made to update a post or page are not showing changed when viewing it (even after clearing both WordPress cache and browser cache and opening a new fresh tab as it normally does).

Could you let me know what to do or push our a fix ASAP?

  • Hello,

We have exactly the same issue after upgrade to 2.0.5 version.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards

    Hi again,

The problem is related with qtranslate plus 2.7.2 plugin.
With qtranslate deactivated, page builder 2.0.5 works like a charm.
Instead, version 1.X of page builder it works fine with qtranslate plus 2.7.2 activated.

Could any one help me with this issue?

    Regards.

clarification too…this error is when editing in the WordPress editor (not the page builder editor)…however, one should be able to edit both way correct?

    I wanted to clarify that…

It seems to work if edits are done within the page builder tab…

    Please let us know…

    Hey folks,

Any progress on this or something we can do on our end so that changes made in the stock WP editor are changed when edits are made?

Right now, I am just trying to remember to make changes in your page builder editor as that seem to work for now.

However, it should change when stuff is edited in the stock WP editor too right? It has it the past.

Thanks a lot and by the way . . . great work!

I am giving you guys a good start rating soon . . .

    Hi truebird

Sorry to hear about the hassle. To confirm, Page Builder content can only be edited in Page Builder. Content is copied over to the Visual / Text tabs for plugins like WordPress SEO which analyses the content there. It’s possible to turn off this setting under Settings > SiteOrigin Page Builder. Once a page or post is being managed in Page Builder it can only be edited there.

There is unfortunately a conflict with qTranslate. We have it logged on our side. We’re a small team and unfortunately haven’t been able to look at it yet. Page Builder is compatible with Polylang and WPML (Premium). Sorry we don’t have more on that point yet.

    Thanks for the followup…

Ok, I can live with that for now (just have to remember to edit with your page builder each time.

Could you guys maybe put some kind of a simple warning background color on your “page builder” button that would act as a warning to make all edits with it IF it has been used for any element at all? That would be very cool. Maybe a yellow warning background color on the button (and a color picker so folks can choose what they want or no color change at all). Then, maybe a annotation when the mouse hovers over the button to remind people they must make all edits with the page builder if they begin using it…that would be a great help (and hopefully would not be too much of a strain on you team to implement)…smile. What do you think about that?

    ——–

So, you are working on potentially adding the ability to co-edit between the editors but it will be a long time before it works enough to push that out (is that right)?

Either way, as long as I can make edits I am all good (but the different color would be a nice reminder…some pages/posts may use it and some may not ya know)…
