I think it’s a server issue.

Hum, that would appear to be the logical reason.. the URL returns 8,704 characters.. and may need to change the server default to allow a longer length. Thank you.

OK, heard back from my service provider .. and this is their response:

There is no standard for maximum length of URIs. However, in practice there are limitations imposed by browsers and web server software. In this case, our web server does not accept such long query strings because they may be abused by hackers to perform a denial-of-service (DoS) attack on it.

Unfortunately, this limitation cannot be removed. The correct way to fix the problem is to make the plugin use POST requests instead of GET requests to make such modifications.

BTW, thank you for letting me know. Still like the tool. Just do not know what changed to limit it when it had been working all along.
