• Hey guys,

    So I designed this website for a client, it’s been running for over a month but every now and then the pages revert to how the look as default.
    Just for some background info;
    I’ve been mainly using Elementor to build it out;
    the text on the pages reverts to the default font size, typography and colour;
    I can’t actually see it doing this- my client notices it, to me it looks fine;
    I’ve contacted Elementor and they just suggested to clean out the server and Elementor cache, which I’ve been doing. This works temporarily but then a while later my client notices it acting up again.
    She regularly cleans out her browser and has even checked on different devices and browsers and she can still see the problem while I can (she’s in Amsterdam and I’m in Sydney if that impacts it at all).

    I just want to know if it might be anything to do with the theme or if there’s a way I can make the site more stable so I don’t need to keep going in and clearing the server whenever there’s an issue.

    I know it may be an issue with plugins- I’m not using too many, only ones that help the website run better and ones used in the design which I’m reluctant to get rid of (if they are the problem, haven’t tested yet) as my client wanted a particular look which was hard to achieve using free plugins. If you think this is probably the issue- let me know! I’ll definitely test them then and let my client know.

    Thanks!

  • Hello,

    What is your PHP version? Try to upgrade it if it is not PHP 7. Instead of it disable/enable plugin one by one to check for a possible conflict.

    I believe it’s PHP 7, says ea-php70 on Bluehost dashboard- would that be correct?

    I was hoping I wouldn’t have to disable/enable plugins one by one as it’s going to be a very tedious process! But I guess I’m going to have to haha

    Thanks!

    Try to do that. If it doesn’t help you, let me know.
