Changes I make when logged into site do not show up when I log out

This is due to the use of a caching plugin and it’s settings. Clear server cache after edits and check the settings.

I’ve cleared the browser cache and even deleted the W3 Total Cache plugin to no avail. I know the site has numerous validation errors, I was only recently asked to help with the site, but I’m not sure which ones may be critical or could be preventing the homepage from updating.

I’m getting pretty frustrated trying to figure out why the homepage for carsofchange.com won’t update. I have changed widgets around and made many other edits to the homepage, but as soon as I log out of the admin and view the site as a normal user, nothing has changed. I’ve cleared the browser cache multiple times and even deleted the W3 Total Cache plugin to no avail. Changes on second level pages are going through just fine, but the homepage will not change to what I see when logged in as admin on the site.

First check your profile and see if you are allowed to make changes to the site.
Then the basic debug.
Try
– deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
