• I made a table prefix change in the database and the config file. Now it is going through a second install process. WordPress has added more tables in the database after this second install. I am now getting a third install screen. What have I done wrong to prompt the install again and is there anyway to bypass this. I tried removing the install.php file but I got errors from WP trying to find it. Should I go through with the third install with the same information and switch back to the child theme because it comes up as the default theme.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. New to wordpress – obviously….

    That’s what you did wrong.

Thanks for the heads up on stating the obvious however it would be helpful if there was a remedy to fix the situation. Got one?

Start by changing the table prefixes back to their originals.
