Changed WordPress URL and can't access blog or admin login

Your site seems to be working fine for me – I get a WP site on BH. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies?

Is this where you are trying to login?

It can also take a while (up to 72 hours) for DNS changes to fully propagate so it may be inconsistent for a while yet.

Thanks, WPyogi- I wasn’t able to access any wp-admin page so I wasn’t sure where to go. I managed to switch my URL back to my temporary WordPress URL, which is https://66.147.244.78/~inhermak, through my database in phpMyAdmin. Then I was able to go to https://66.147.244.78/~inhermak/wp-admin and get back into my Admin page. I went to Settings>General and changed both the WordPress URL and Site URL to https://66.147.244.78/~inhermak, how it was before I messed this up, so now at least I can access my blog/dashboard.

Since I’ve already pointed my name servers to Bluehost’s, I’m still unsure how to get my purchased domain of inhermakeupbag.com to go to my WordPress site.

Might not be for everyone – as I said earlier it can take up to 72 hours for DNS changes to fully propagate.

Thanks WPyogi- I realize it’s probably just my computer. My only question now is what my WordPress admin URL will be once the DNS changes have been completed, and if I have to mess at all with the URLs in General> Settings.
