changed URL index page is fine 404 error on all other pages

Change the urls back and then see Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory.

I may be understanding this wrong, but I do not want it in its own directory… when I click on professional work for instance I want the URL to say https://www.glazefolio.com/professional work right now it reads https://www.mike.glazefolio.com/professional work… I am trying to get rid of the mike part of the url… but when I change it I get 404 errors… I hope I am not understanding the use of the sub directory wrong… I tried to do it and it did not work for me…

mike.glazefolio.com is a sub-domain of glazefolio.com, yes? So you installed WP in a sub-folder called “mike” off the root domain, so it’s already in a sub-folder. If you want it to remain in that sub-folder but take over the root domain, the link I gave you explains how to do that.

Unless, you really do want to move WordPress, of course…

ah… maybe I should mention that I did this with the navigation…

I think I moved wordpress alreay like the second link you have on their says… but I am having trouble changing my navigation… sorry, if I am being redundant but I am not having much luck reading through that information… am I having problems because I rewrote the nav? Sorry, I am very new to web design…
