Changed Theme; Now Widgets Won’t Update!

I recently changed my wordpress theme and I’m now having a problem with widgets. All the text boxes from the old there are is there, but it’s not appearing on the new theme, nor is my blogroll.

I also cannot remove widget items from the new theme that I don’t want, because they simply are not in the widget layout.
