Changed Site URL and now have white page on wp-admin

I have my install of wp in a subdirectory called xwp. I was ready to make the site live and was just going to change the site URL and move the htaccess and index.php as mentioned in the documentation so that it points to the xwp directory. Well after making all of the necessary changes the wp-admin page was suddenly white. I undid everything I had done and even went into the phpmyadmin to change the site url and home url back to what it was domain.com/xwp and now I can see the site there, but the wp-admin (domain.com/xwp/wp-admin) is still white. When I check the source code there is nothing there and I’ve put on the debug but get nothing there also. Any suggestions?
