Changed shortcode IDs in plugin update and can’t save existing form edits
-
Apparently, in some update of the plugin, Contact Form 7 has replaced the IDs of all the shortcodes of the forms already created, now the IDs include letters and numbers. The relationship between the existing forms has not been lost, but the IDs of the shortcodes are not the same. and when creating a new form, it creates the ID with letters and numbers, I can save it once but if I want to edit and save again, it won’t let me.
EXAMPLE:
Contact Form 7 Edit Page
URL: https://maderayconstruccion.com.ar/myc/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpcf7&post=10963&action=edit
Shortcode generated: [contact-form-7 id=”91a4dbf” title=”SIP Course registration form October 07, 2023″]
FRONT where the form is pasted:
https://maderayconstruccion.com.ar/inscripcion-curso-paneles-sip/When trying to edit and re-save the form, the response page:
https://maderayconstruccion.com.ar/myc/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpcf7&post=10963
Text inside the page:
“The link you followed has expired.
Please try again.”It also happens to me on another website that the Contact Form 7 plugin has been updated
Do you have an idea how I can solve it since it does not allow me to edit any form.
thanks for your help
