changed php after installation from 4 to 5 now 404 everywhere

  • Hey guys, my host puts php 4 as standard (without me knowing) so after a few weeks running the site i found out and changed it to php 5 however now the main page works however when i click on any other page i get a 404.. anyway of fixing this without reinstalling?

    I have tried various things and nothing seems to work anyone?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
