Changed Permalink Structure Now Can't Login

  • I changed my permalink structure to one of the defaults… I believe it was month day and post name, and as soon as I hit submit I was taken to the login screen and I’m unable to login with my username and password. Any idea what may have caused this and how I can get back in?

    Also, the page doesn’t even show up when I go to the url of the blog. It says “The page isn’t redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.”

    My host figured it out for me… had something to do with my htaccess files. Wish I could explain further but not sure exactly what they did.
