Changed Permalink Redirects Automatically?

  • Hi,

    I needed to change the title & corresponding permalink to a post that was posted a few hours ago. I was expecting to perhaps need to do a 301 on the original post/permalink but….when I go to the original url/permalink, said permalink automatically changes to the new permalink/url. Huh…what happened?
