Changed Permalink – now how to redirect

Hi,

I recently changed my permalink structure from:

“blog.com/date/postname” to “blog.com/postID-postname”.

Is there a plugin or another way I could redirect the old links to the new ones? The old links will be found on search engines and other people’s websites that link to a particular post on mine.

Is this possible of do I just have to suffer with a lot of 404 messages for a while?
