Changed my url

  • I am moving my blog, and I thought the right thing to was to change the wordpress address and blog address to the new url. Apparently I was wrong! I had already ftp’d the files, and it’s still showing up (www.theshoppingboutique.com/blog) minus the header. When I try to sign in, however, it says that there is an Error establishing a database connection. How can I change this if I can’t log in?

  • How have you moved your blog?

    Your blog is a combination of the files, a database, and your wp-config.php that joins the two together. If you’ve moved from one host to another then you’ll also need to copy the database.
