• HI All!

When i first installed my WP we were using roundcube to handle our mail, we have recently changed to Gmail for business and our emails are all working fine! However, all mail generated by our contact form (contact form 7) and any notifications regarding comments etc are still being sent to the old mailbox (email accounts are the same)
The contact form definitely is set up correctly, it is sending mail, but is being received at the now disused web mail client (roundcube)

    Any suggestions?

  • Go to the CF7 Admin page in your dashboard. On each form that your site uses, click edit and then look for the person to whom the email will be sent. Change as appropriate.

As stated, the contact form is set up correctly.

The new emails and old emails use the same address, just a different host.

The address(s) the CF7 email to are the active ones.

Take a look at the raw email headers of an email that’s arrived in the wrong place. You should be able to work out how it’s been routed.

If i email from my gmail (the wordpress admin/sender) then it goes to my new email account, though the original and deliver to are correct. It looks as though its being routed through our server as opposed to our gmail web server. Do you think its a case of removing the MX fields?

It looks like phpmail is sending the mail via postfix on your OVH box to what looks like a local user, presumably then picked up in roundcube.

Maybe consider using a SMTP plugin to force WordPress/CF7 to use your desired SMTP host. Even better, use something like MailGun, Postmark, Mandrill etc etc.
