Changed FB pw, getting error, can’t reauthorize

  • Hello, premium user here and I am having trouble with FB autoposting. I did change my FB password recently and not sure if it is causing the issue or not. When trying to Post on FB I am getting this error:

    Upon attempting to reauthorisze I am getting this error:
    Invalid Scopes: publish_actions, user_managed_groups. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions

    FYI I have added the ‘Valid Oauth Redirect URI’ as advised here (https://www.nextscripts.com/instructions/facebook-social-networks-auto-poster-setup-installation/october-2017-facebook-changes/) but still not working.

    Invalid Scopes: publish_actions, user_managed_groups.

    Please either use approved app or take your app to development mode. Facebook no longer allows those permissions on not approved live apps

    Hello, switching to development mode did not resolve this problem.

    Can you please detail how to get App approved? Or are you saying Nextscripts ‘Autoposting’ no longer works with Facebook?

    FYI, for any other users with this problem you have to Submit your app for facebook to review, which is a pretty painful process with no guarantee of approval. SNAP did provide a tutorial for this (https://www.nextscripts.com/2018/07/facebook-app-review).

    SNAP has claimed their Premium version (which I have) has an “alternative API for Facebook that doesn’t use official Facebook API, so no apps and no approvals”

    How do I access this SNAP? Thank you.
