changed directories — “The e-mail could not be sent”

  • I installed wordpress 2.33 in the root directory of my domain. Everything worked.
    Decided it should be in a sub directory called “blog”
    Moved all of the files and had navigation problems.
    Went to options changed directory there.
    Suddenly I was no longer logged in – duh
    Had not written down password so tried to have a new one sent.
    Got the “The e-mail could not be sent” error.
    I’m pretty sure its a directory problem.
    Is there something somewhere I can edit to get the email working so I can log in? Or is there a way to reset a password in the database?
