changed address in settings, site down .

This information is stored in your database. The setting are in the options table, but I strongly recommend backing up your database first, and treading lightly if you choose to edit your database…

aha, well I found one of the tables that it was in, but changed it and it didn’t fix it.

wp_options is the table I edited. still doing something weird.

I have my site masked to https://www.wetheunheard.com and it forwards via a frame to https://www.omgitsawiki.com/wetheunheard, and in preferences I had set it go to https://www.wetheunheard.com but then everything got messed up.

so, i changed it in the database, and now it goes to https://www.wetheunheard.com/wetheunheard.

not really sure whats going on ??

there are 2 entries within the options table that need to be edited when and if thats changed. this IS covered in the documentation.

I think that the frame forwarding is not playing nice with however you have WordPress set up.

I would suggest disabling the frame forwarding for now and work on getting WordPress to work in it’s actual location, and then worry about getting the other domain name to work. But of course the easiest way to do it would be to have your install of wordpress on the same domain name that you want it to appear at in the end…
